Radar radio (update 10/07): three shows from DNB Radio since yesterday's bulletin

Since the radio broadcast published on July 9th, three new programs have been announced: Rumblejunkie and Solid in a back-to-back set on Tales from the Darkside, veritech reviving Live from SDF-1, and Affirmation on air for The Truth Hertz.

Three shows have just been announced on DNB Radio following the weekly bulletin published yesterday (July 9, 2026). We note the programming - dates, residents, titles - without characterizing a mix that we haven't listened to yet. A detailed review will come if we take the time to listen to them.

July 10 - Rumblejunkie & Solid, Tales from the Darkside

New chapter of the Tales from the Darkside series, this time with Rumblejunkie and Solid as a duo. The show, resident on DNB Radio, is the same mechanics as the one reviewed in our analysis S4 E37/38/39 a few days ago: darkstep / halftime line, selectors who spin in b2b and solo according to the episodes. Rumblejunkie and Solid had already appeared separately in the current season; seeing them together in the same episode is a format to note.

July 9 - veritech, Live from SDF-1

Return of Live from SDF-1, the resident show of veritech. The name of the show is an assumed Macross reference (the SDF-1 being the fortress ship of the series), an editorial line that the selector has been carrying since the previous episodes. This is the nth installment of the same show in the week's lineup - a sign that the series runs regularly.

July 9 - Affirmation, The Truth Hertz

The Truth Hertz is Affirmation's slot on DNB Radio. As with the other recurring shows on the station, we note the title and the resident; listening - and therefore decoding the selection, transitions, and tracks played - remains to be done.

What it says

No scoop, no announced format change: the station continues to run on its usual residents. The real signal will be to listen to one or the other of these sets and to draw a proper mix review from it - narrative arc, transitions, key tracks, DJing style. For now, it's a radar, not a verdict.
