Belgian label De:tuned once again dives into the innovative world of Luke Vibert, reviving his legendary Plug moniker with ‘Variety Magic’, the first new Plug album in nearly 15 years.

For this release, Vibert unearthed and hand‑picked a collection of previously unreleased jungle and drum & bass gems, sourced straight from his original mid‑90s DAT archive. The result is an 11‑track ride through the raw energy and playful experimentation that made his early Plug work so distinctive, all infused with Vibert’s unmistakable funk and mischievous flair.

Variety Magic is vibrant, bold, and delightfully off‑kilter. A colourful homage to an iconic era, crafted for both deep listeners and the dancefloor. Stay tuned!
