Based in Getafe, just outside Madrid, 7th Pyramid has spent the last decade refining his sound, drawing on a background in music school, playing keyboards in bands and a lifelong obsession with Drum & Bass.
The ‘Coming Now EP’ marks his first ever proper release, and lands on one of his favourite labels in CIA Records. Not bad for somebody whose head is apparently too big for most hats - ask his barber. He might not be able to wear the standard issue Drum & Bass cap, but he can definitely produce the tunes.
Across the EP he shows plenty of range, moving from classy soulful Drum & Bass through to bubbly rollers and jazzy grooves, all handled with the sort of confidence that makes it hard to believe this is a debut release.
